Anniversary Concert of the Famous KVN team “Garni Dity” in Yampil.
Since the morning there was a snowstorm, and the weather was frightening with its aggressive mood. But in our village everyone has been waiting for the evening, when a real humor holiday was due to be held: Club of the cheerful and sharp-witted celebrated its 15th anniversary. More than 300 viewers received free invitations to the concert, because this team [“Garni Dity”], “Beautiful Children”) has a lot of fans and friends.
The history of «Garni Dity» of the Yampil district children’s and youth creativity center (CYCC) began in 2003. The first team leader was Mehdi Babayev, the director of the CYCC. KVN team “Garni Dity” is one of the best children’s and youth teams of Ukraine. They are the multiple region champions, a two-time winners of the Winter Games in Vinnitsa, silver medalists of the final of the All-Ukrainian contest for KVN-young traffic inspectors. “Garni Dity” team is the silver prize-winner of the All-Ukrainian festival “Smichovik” in Zhytomyr and the three-time bronze medalist of the festival “Joke-Bird” in Zatoka (Odessa region). In September 2017 they became the winner of the “Joke-Bird” and was granted with the right to hold this all-Ukrainian festival at their home this year. It will be a huge event for Yampol and Sumy.
The team has a constant support of People’s Deputy of Ukraine Andrii Derkach. We should recall, during the winter holidays, the festive musical tours of the Yampil children were held in the cities and towns of Sumy with his assistance, and last year the team performed on the stage of the Kiev National Opera of Ukraine. The deputy passed on a huge cake for the holiday!
From the opening minutes of the concert, the “Garni Dity” team got an audience. The excellent actors were making people laugh and spreading lots of cheer to all those present. Before the applause was over, the experienced graduates of KVN appeared on the scene.
The vocal ensemble “Rosinka” and the exemplary choreographic collective “Souvenir” welcomed the KVN team, and Tatyana Lanina shared her memories of those times when she was a member of the team.
Irina Panchenko, the chairman of the Yampil district state administration, and Olga Gubar, the chairman of the Yampil district council, have come to congratulate the Yampil community and awarded with money prizes. Natalya Tsybulko, the chairman of the town council, also gave the presents. Igor Urbansky, the editor-in-chief of the KVN Association of Ukraine, was also present at the celebration.
This evening has extended the life to many people, because it is laugh that cures all illness and adversities.
