In Hlukhiv, pupils for the Farewell bell day brought money for charity instead of flowers.

On May 31 in Hlukhiv schools rang out the Farewell bell. In the morning, beautiful, solemnly dressed pupils were rushing to celebrate, however not so many people carried expensive bouquets in their hands, unless home peonies or irises.

For the second time the schools took part in the action: the money that should be spent on flowers was donated to charity. Each institution had its own purpose. For example, in secondary school № 2 they collected 17 thousand UAH for the support of a 8th grade student – Ruslan Pinchuk, who requires long-term treatment. In school 6, part of the funds was attracted to the renovation of a local landmark, Miklashevsky’s house, and the other part was divided between a sick school student and little Masha Kudoyar, who had been fighting cancer and its consequences for three years. Team of School №1 had wired more than 12 thousand to the same girl.

People of Hlukhiv has been pleased by this idea. And if last year some parents doubted whether it was proper to let their child go without flowers, now it was not a problem. 20, 50, 100 hryvnia – into a common piggy bank. Lets remind that last year people bagan such an action, when all the institutions collected help for little Misha Kulik. By the way, the boy is absolutely healthy now!

No one has yet canceled the school assembly, so it took place as always: solemnly, with songs, dances and attitudes. So, the people’s deputy of Ukraine Andrii Derkach and the deputy of the regional council Oleg Boyarintsev came to congratulate alumni and all pupils of school № 2.

-Dear alumni, only a good and bright future is waiting for you. Therefore, tune in to the positive. You will certainly achieve success. There is no a single generation that does live easily: some got the war, some – the recovery. Your teachers and parents have had years of restructuring. Today – it is foreign invaders. But still, any problem goes away. And the future of our country will depend on you.- said Andriy Derkach.

Many beautiful words were said relating to the school teachers. School teachers : Nataliya Ovcharenko, Sergiy Tishchenko, Nataliya Davydenko, Oksana Mayboroda, Tatyana Kabanova received certificates of honor from the head of Sumy Regional State Administration.
