The Supreme Court of Ukraine began the consideration of the claim against the coalition of the Verkhovna Rada because of its inactivity in submitting to the Cabinet of Ministers a candidacy for the post of the Healthcare Minister. Andrii Derkach wrote this on his Facebook page .
Derkach is sure that the absence of a legally appointed Head of the Healthcare Ministry violates the rights of citizens.
“The court accepted the lawsuit against the Verkhovna Rada for its consideration, and the first session of the Collegium of Judges has already passed. We demand that the parliamentary coalition give the Cabinet of Ministers a candidacy for the post of the Minister”. There has been no lawful Minister in the country for more than 2 years and authorities ignore this”, Derkach said.
He also noted that while the country does not have a Healthcare Minister, and interim is Ulyana Suprun, there is a complete destruction of the free medical system.
“In addition, we see what happens with morbilli: there is an epidemic in the country, and they cannot appoint a Minister.” I know that in 2015-2016 less than 50% of the population received a vaccine in areas of my district”. In 2017, the situation improved, but still there is no 100% provision of conditions for vaccination. The rights of people are violated, and no one is responsible”, added Derkach.
The deputy is sure that while the Rada formally has a coalition, it is obliged to make a proposal for the post of Healthcare Minister.
“Where is Yaresko, who hanged the debt for every Ukrainian? Where is Abromavichus? Where is Kvitashvili? Who is responsible for the fate of people who are at risk?” said Derkach.
As you may know, the MP Andrii Derkach filed a lawsuit against the Verkhovna Rada because of the non-appointment of the Healthcare Minister. Earlier, together with his colleagues-deputies Valeriy Dubil and Yuriy Odarchenko, Derkach filed a suit against the Cabinet, which does not submit the candidacy of the Minister for consideration and official appointment. The court pointed out that the Cabinet of Ministers nominates the Minister of Health on the basis of a proposal from the coalition. Thus, the leaders of the coalition factions are a third party in the new lawsuit, which is considered by the Supreme Court of Ukraine.
