On February 10, the MP of Ukraine Andrey Derkach and Oleg Boyarintsev, a deputy of Sumy Regional Council, visited Krolevechchina on a working trip. During the visit, the people’s deputies together with the Head of Krolevets District Council Nikolay Avramenko visited Bystryk rural community and the secondary school No.2 named after N.A. Lukash in Krolevets.
Being on the territory of Bystryk Village Council, Mr.Derkach met with the village activists, visited Bystryk education and training complex (ETC), village House of Culture, the Holy Trinity Church. As noted by the ETC director, in recent years, with the assistance of Andrey Derkach windows were replaced to metal-plastic (200 thousand hryvnias), children’s playground was set up in preschool part of the complex. In addition, in December last year, at the expense of the state budget, an interactive whiteboard and multimedia projector was purchased to introduce innovative approaches to the process of raising and educating children.
Moreover, according to the Village Council Head, the MP has provided the substantial assistance for the reconstruction of the Holy Trinity Church (roof overhaul, dome installation, restoration of St. Theodosius of Chernigov icon).
At the end of the meeting, the District Council Head Nikolay Avramenko has emphasized that in 2016 the project of major repairs of Bystryk Culture House won the tender financed from the State Regional Development Fund (total amount – 371.895 thousand hryvnias).
The village Chairman, Dmitriy Demidenko, on behalf of the community, asked Andrey Derkach to include the issue of overhauling the ETC boiler-room and carrying out energy saving measures for Bystryk educational and training complex in projects that will be financed in 2017 by a subvention from the state budget for socio-economic development of the territories.
Communicating with the teaching staff of Krolevets secondary school No. 2 named after N.A. Lukash, Andrey Derkach congratulated teachers, parents and students on the 120th anniversary of the school. Furthermore, he congratulated Stanislav Yatsenko on his victory in the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year – 2017” in the nomination “Computer Science”, which in turn thanked the guests for their assistance in acquiring a computer class for the school. The school director Irina Ilyashenko thanked the MP for assisting in allocating subventions from the state budget for energy efficiency measures (replacement of windows for metal-plastic ones), purchase of an interactive whiteboard and multimedia projector.
The Chairman of Krolevets Union of Afghan Veterans, Anatoliy Maksimenko, presented to the MP the book “Afghan roads” by Nikolay Kalyuk dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from the Republic of Afghanistan, to the financing of the publication Andrey Derkach had also joined.
During the meeting, the director of the secondary school No. 1, the managers of the ETC No.6 and No.4 appealed to Andrey Derkach for the assistance in allocating funds from the state budget for energy saving measures for educational institutions and submitted relevant written requests.
